Wildfire Alert

August 27, 2012

BE AWARE!

HURRICANES MAY AFFECT THE PRICE OF FUEL IN UNFORESEEN WAYS.  BE WARNED THAT PRICES MAY SPIKE TOMORROW AND IMMEDIATELY DROP SOON AFTER.

READ THIS FULL MESSAGE FOR DETAILS!

With a hurricane now threatening the Florida coast and the Gulf region, reports indicate that the price of gasoline may significantly rise overnight!

Looking back only a few years, many of you will recall a similar situation in which prices increased nearly 50 cents overnight, only to plummet a day later!
Those station owners who were unfortunate to take delivery at that time were stuck with high-priced gasoline and faced a really tough decision on what to do with it!  Their options were to either continue to sell the gas at such a high price and see their volume shrink or eat the loss in order to match their competitors' prices.

BE AWARE THAT THIS COULD HAPPEN AGAIN TOMORROW!!!

Everything I'm reading right now seems to indicate that this is very possible.  I will know more in only a few hours, but as many of you order tanker loads at the end of the workday for morning deliveries, you need to know how this may pan out before placing that order.

With this in mind, if you aren't in dire need of fuel for tomorrow, it may be advantageous for you to hold off on placing that order for another day or so.
