The Trump administration has been debating banning e-cigarette flavors for the last several months and just officially came out with this ruling today. This decision will affect everyone nationwide, not just in NJ. The policy will go into effect February 1st, after which you will not be able to sell any of the inventory that you have remaining after that date. Tobacco and menthol flavor will still be allowed, though mint flavor is banned.

Many of you received an Action Alert from us this morning if you were constituents of certain legislators, as we need to target them. This is because we learned late on New Year’s Eve that both the Senate and Assembly will be having hearings to take up this issue on Monday, January 6th that will also ban all of these flavors, despite the fact that the federal government has already done so. More important to us is that there are attempts by several legislators to ban the sale of e-cigs in c-stores and to only allow them to be sold in designated vape shops. This is unacceptable to us and if you received one of the Action Alerts this morning please click on the links to send a message to your legislators.
