NJGCA has been a member of Association Master Trust (AMT) since 1978. AMT is a NOT FOR PROFIT self funded Multiple Employer Welfare Arrangement (MEWA) consisting of 13 trade associations with small business employers as their members.

The participating associations enjoy the advantages of a “large group” with maximized claim stability, administrative cost savings, and a full menu of comprehensive benefits normally not available to small employers.

As a member of NJGCA you and your employees are eligible to participate in the AMT Health Benefits Plan. You can choose from 20 different plans or even participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA)

You save because AMT is a NOT FOR PROFIT entity committed to keeping member contributions at levels that are as low as possible by controlling administrative expense. Health Insurance carriers must please their shareholders and are permitted by state regulations to charge small businesses as much as 25% in administrative costs. AMT administration expense is usually within 10-15%.
