Sal appears on Fox Business Network program, debates host over gouging (Fox Business Network)
Executive Director Sal Risalvato was recently a guest on Fox Business Network's Follow The Money program. Host Eric Bolling debated Sal on the issue of motorists gouging consumers. Risalvato discusses speculators driving up gasoline prices with CBS2 News
NJGCA Executive Director Sal Risalvato recently spoke with CBS 2 News reporter Christine Sloan on how motorists' habits are changing due to the price of gasoline. Sal also discussed how speculators are driving up the cost of gasoline due to the unrest in the Middle East, harming station owners, drivers, and small businesses.

Did eliminating Safety Inspections influence rising traffic fatalities?
Sal Risalvato, Executive Director of the New Jersey Gasoline, Convenience, Automotive Association (NJGCA), released the following statement regarding a recent State Police report showing an increase in the number of traffic related deaths: "Earlier this week, new State Police statistics were made available that showed an uptick in the number of traffic related deaths in 2011. Unfortunately for state motorists, this marks the end of a five-year trend in which fatalities decreased year-after-year", stated Risalvato.

"It is time to end the abuse of Big Oil upon these small franchisees," Sal Risalvato, Executive Director of the New Jersey Gasoline, C-store, Automotive Association stated, "the franchisees have been under the wrath of these mega-corporations for too long. Even when Big Oil is ready to get out of the retail marketing chain, they still try to stab these entrepreneurs one last time."
